lifegroups!

I know we've had a lot of talk about lifegroups lately and we've made them a big push lately. We truly believe that it is beneficial for everyone to get connected to a lifegroup. These home groups will provide a support group as you connect with others and "do" life together, in community, how the first century, early church did it.
For those of you that have connected through a lifegroup, what has been the greatest experience so far?
For those still waiting to make the commitment to a lifegroup, look for a group that meets near you and get plugged in.
24 Hour Prayer Celebration

As I reflect on the topic of prayer, I'm reminded that prayer does more to change us to God, rather than the other way around. In one of Moses' honest discussions with the Lord, he says "if you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you..." May this be our heart's desire as a church; that we may know Yahweh more and learn His ways.

Sand Volleyball Tournament

The Sand Volleyball Tournament is right around the corner- just a few weeks away on Sunday, June 29, starting at 12:00noon. This is an opportunity for us to come together as a church by living out the great comission. This tournament is all about building relationships with people that are not-yet-Christians or aren't locked in to a church. As part of Cornerstone, you are a vital part to reaching people for Christ and we each have our unique role God has prepared.
We're in need of people to help with set-up and clean-up, work the registration table (collecting money from teams, handing out gifts, and checking-in teams), and for individuals to help make this event possible. Let me know if you can help in any way.
