WHERE'S THE PROOF?

Life is full of questions. Some simple, such as "Fries or Onion Rings?" Others more complex, such as "What college should I attend?" Still, there are other questions that many struggle with and seldom come to a conclusion. Those questions are The God Questions! For those questions, the answers are not found in the back of the textbook or in the yellow pages. Yet, the answers are all around us.
One of the biggest questions I struggled with as a teenager was "does God exist?" And if so, where is the proof that He exists? As students we are always taught that we must prove something is true. If we find that x=10, we are asked to prove it by putting "10" in the equation and solving it.
This leads us to the question of God's existence. As a Christian, of course we believe that He exists. Yet, when our non-Christian friends ask us about God's existence we are at a loss for words. However, the Bible equips us for questions such as this. In Romans 1:20, the question of God's existence comes into play. Paul tells us that since the beginning of time, God's existence has been clearly seen. In other words, we don't need to look any further than nature itself to understand that there is a divine Creator and that no form of science or evolution can argue with that. Science has run into a brick wall in the area of evolution because as much as we try to understand about nature and creations, we can not create something out of nothing. Yet, that is exactly that God did! Genesis tells us that before the Creation of the World, there was nothing but God. This tells us that God created everything around us out of NOTHING! Not even the "Big Bang" can claim that. Therefore, as we consider the proof that God exists, it can clearly be seen in creation and everything around us.
